Delete your account

Permanently remove your account and all associated data.

We are sorry to see you go. If you delete your account, all of your data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.

How to request deletion

Send an email to hello@receiptatlas.com from the email address registered to your account with the subject line Delete my account. We will process your request within 5 business days and confirm by email once complete.

What we delete

• Your account details — name, email, phone number, password
• All receipt images stored in Cloudflare R2
• All extracted receipt data (stores, items, totals, dates)
• Your authentication tokens and session data
• Your scan count and usage history

What we may retain

• Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics that cannot identify you
• Transaction records retained by Stripe for legal and financial compliance purposes (governed by Stripe's own retention policy)
• Technical logs retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes

Timeframe

Your request will be actioned within 5 business days. Full removal from all systems including backups occurs within 30 days of the request.

Active subscriptions

If you have an active paid subscription, please cancel it first via your account settings to avoid further charges. Account deletion does not automatically cancel your Stripe subscription.
